My Beloved

I have come to the refreshing springs. My soul is still and quiet and refreshed. The waters are clear and pure and bring life to body and joy to heart and hope to dreams. Here I sit and drink and listen and love.

My beloved is here. He sits still, leaning back against the trunk of a tree whose shade is cool and inviting. He looks upon me with a smile on His face. He takes joy in my pleasure, He takes joy in my refreshing. He rejoices over me with His unconditional, everlasting love.

I turn my face and gaze into the eyes of pure love. Such depth, such compassion... such love. His eyes look into my soul and with His look my fears are quenched, my questions answered. He reaches across and caresses my face, His touch as light as the breeze. I close my eyes and savour His touch.

There are no need for words. We share an intimacy so deep and true and pure and right. Silence is like a song of love that passes between us. My beloved and I.

For Him, my souls desire

It doesn’t matter what is said
Heaven knows the truth

That ‘s enough for me

It doesn’t matter the season
As long as I am
Walking through this moment
Holding your hand

It doesn’t matter the thoughts
Or plans or deeds of another
My plans , My steps
Are ordered of the Lord


So I hold my head up high
Listening to His words
As they give me strength
To live another day

In grace and peace
In fellowship and love
Never denying that He
Is the reason that I am

The only words that matter
Are the ones that Heaven speaks
For they are words of life and truth
That clothe me everyday

I walk in the confidence
That He is my strength, my all
He is the fire of passion that burns
In my heart that lives in awe
